the hd seems to be running warmer than normal. The laptop wasnt turning on before so i took it apart and put it back together and it worked but now the hd seems to be running warm. is this normal and i am just realizing it now? also, i kind of did a half-asked job on putting the screws back in.

it seems like this is running much warmer than normal, the only thing i can think of that i removed and forgot to put back in was some aluminum tape stuff near the HD

Because you took your laptop apart, I can't be sure but..a warm HD could mean that its going to go soon..mine would get hot, slow down, and eventually wouldn't boot past the grey Apple screen.
