• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Hold on there, buddy :black:
It hasn't even been 10 minutes since your initial post. You have to give people a chance to answer before you start bumping your thread and getting antsy. :black:

thanks but thats for photoshop... i was looking for video

in that case, what software do you have access to? Isn't there a video section here? You probably should have posted there. This is images, design and photography and why you were given photoshop results.

My guess is that you'd need access to a studio and some nice equipment (DV camera, tripod, lighting etc.) Probably a green-screen so you can key out the background. I'd ensure the person has dark hair and dark clothing to get maximum contrast. If you're using Final Cut, (I'd explain this better, but it's been 2 years since I last used the app) increase the contrast and key out the background. Since it's video, you'd also need a good model (dancer) and non-copyright music ;)

If you just want a black silloute on a color backround, In Final Cut greenscreen your dancer, then do a normal composite with a color image as your backround layer and lower the brightness of the dancer layer until they are just black.
