C&C Generals windows-mac network

Im in halls at university at the moment, and several of us have hte awesome game generals. Unfortunately, I am the only enlightened mac user!

We tried to set up a network game, and my mac wouldnt appear on the network game lobby. I tried again after taking down my firewall and still no luck. We thought it could be due to different patch versions (mac is 1.0.4, pc is ~ 1.6), so we downgraded to the base release, still no luck.

Anyone know what might be up? Thanks

I'm not sure with C&C, but I know a few of the games by that publisher, don't work Cross-platform.

After a quick search, its confirmed that C&C isn't cross platform compatible.

bummer.

Know any good games that are cross platform compatible ? a good fps maybe ?
