Sony Ericsson P990i and isync

hi there. can't synchronize my SE 990i and PowerBookG4. two questions:
1.does anybody have any reccomendation how to synchronize these two?
2.does apple considers at all to support isync forSE 990i and SE W950i?

I have a Sony Ericsson phone also, and I just use iSync with Bluetooth. My phone didn't come with any sort of data cable, so I have never had that option. Also, not all phones are compatible with iSync. Here is a list of campatible devices, and since your phonse is so new, that might be the reason it doesn't sync.

Is the software that came with your phone Mac compatible?
-If yes, then there should be another sync program that you can use. *No guarentee that it will work with iCal or iSync though.

Many of the SE phones can be fixed to work with iSync using the plugins from mobile.feisar.com. Unfortunately, the P990i isn't one of them, because iSync doesn't support the version of SyncML used by these phones. More details here. It basically needs an upgrade to iSync to support the new SyncML version, then a plugin will be possible.
