Will CDs that came with intel mac work on PowerPC?

I have an intel iMac and it came with OS 10.4 - Will these cds work with my PowerPC based G4?

Nope. Different software and it would be illegal

Firstly, the DVDs are machine specific, iMac, MacBook, MacMini etc.

Secondly they came with an Intel machine, so no. I believe that the system is strictly the Intel version and not universal on the DVDs.

Third, as has already been pointed out it is technically a violation of the EULA as laid out by Apple.
