It seems I can't just drag and drop or copy/paste certain folders similar to windows. There is only some files i want to backup such as all my itunes music, my documents from school, and I have one folder i put all my important downloads in. What is the best way to do this?

I wonder why you say you can't drag and drop, skye23412. Is there a message you see that says the folders or files cannot be copied? In this case it might be a simple permissions problem. If you don't know how to change permissions or if you're stumped somehow, just report back with what you see exactly, what the message is and we'll see what we can do about that.
