Hello,
having a problem with finding my local IP address; used to use chicken of vnc with port forwarding set up to access offsite PC with vnc server running; my setup has got screwed up and I can't get a local IP address set up to port forward to on my Powerbook. In my old setup( ? pre 10.4.8?) I simply had 2 Mac's as 10.0.1.2 and 10.0.1.3 automatically assigned by Airport base station set to DHCP (it being 10.0.1.1) The network tab told me what the local IP was for each Mac and away we go.
Been through the set up of Airport and TCP/IP several times, no luck. Any ideas?
Thanks
