    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.

Frame rate problem on iMovie HD import

I've just imported 90 minutes of HD tape into a new project which is HD-1080i-25. The tape appeared to import OK but is 108 minutes long on the timeline. This is a ratio of approx 25 : 29.97 so I guess it is a frame rate problem but don't understand where I have gone wrong or how to fix it.

Any ideas please?

Further to this, I deleted the video clips from the timeline, brought them back from the iDVD trash and suddenly their duration on the timeline was correct. Strange...
