Is the wireless 'n' standard a feature of the airport cards in the macbook pro core 2 duo or the mabook core duo?? I know 'n' wireless routers are backwards compatible with a/b/g. Apple released a new Airport extreme base station, so just wondering.

The most recent revisions of the MB and MBP's have N cards but they do not have the drivers/firmware to connect at N speeds yet. it will probably be an update from apple to run them
