ok, i have a MBP 2.16ghz c2d w/ 1600 128mb. Now even though i can play all the games i have perfect on xp w/ bootcamp i have a question more for the future. I am upgrading my mbp from 1 to 2gb of ram so i have plenty. Is there anyway in XP to make is so like an extra 128mb of my comp ram is set specifically to be used only for graphics, basically to boost my graphics card from 128 to 256? or even just to help it a little.

No. Your ATI X1600 doesn't use system RAM, it uses its own discrete RAM.

I don't know -- but doubt -- whether you can upgrade the video RAM.

No. To quote one of the most brilliant men I know:

Your video card will use as much system ram as it needs when it is in use automatically, it doesnt "only" use the vRam, but it will cache items out from it vRam to system ram / harddrive as it needs the room.

ATI doesn't have a turbocache-esque technology in the 1600 series, so no, it will never use system memory, only its own dedicated memory.
