My wireless card has not been working for some time. I took my powerbook in for repair and the technician said that it is not communicating with my computer probobly related to a big shock of static electricity. it He said it would cost around $1,000 to fix and suggested that I get an external wireless converter for the PCI slot.
I have been looking for a few days and had almost settled on the Aria Airport Extreme Adapter. However, there was a little note that said it was not compatible with the 15" Powerbook already equipped with an Airport Extreme Card (which is what I assume I have as my computer was made in August of 2004).
Does anyone have any suggestions?
