PowerBook Battery question

I have a PowerBook G4 & I haven't used it for 6 months. I have a question regarding the battery. When I 1st bought the G4 I charged the battery, without turning the PowerBook on, like with a new mobile phone. Should I do the same now, or just use it as I would normally, by working of the mains, while charging?

You shouldn't have a problem either way. I'd be anxious to use the machine, so I'd have it plugged-in and charging while I was using it :D. I drain my iBook's battery frequently, and I use it while it's charging all the time.

You should be set to go just by plugging it in.

When I first got my powerbook i am pretty sure i remember it saying that you can work on it during the initial charge
