Diablo 2 and AIM problems

I am currently a proud owner of my first MACbook, 2GHz intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. Anyways my problem is this first I can not find AIM that actually works for me all the files come up as (no application for this) Second is my Diablo 2 I know that its hybrid and i got it to work until it gets to the beginning screen. Where the screen is all messed up and i cant select anything but the beginning part plays fine. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
