I have a windows computer, i have for a long time, but my pc never came with the actual windows installer disk. So, I was wondering, is there any way that i can extract windows from my pc, put it on a disk, and instal it on my mac, so i dont have to shell out another 200 bucks just to buy an OS i already have? thanks in advance

This is not possible you would need an installer to instal it on the mac and you do not have an installer on your windows computer. Even if you did you need packages and such, not just files that were created for your computer. So your best option is to go out and buy a cheap version of windows home edition.

or contact your original vendor and request an OS disc. Dell will give them if asked.
