Dashboard dosen't open

Hi I am new to Mac and Mac Forum

Having just got a beautiful Mcbook pro I have been poking around getting familiar with the programs.

I did somthing that caused Dashboard to not open properly. Now when I click on the Icon the screen dims and the application dosen't open. If I click on it again the screen brightens up but sgsin no Dashboard.

Is there a plus symbol in the bottom left corner?

If so click it, and add the widgets you want.

Yes it appears that dashboard is open but you do not have widgets on your screen. Maybe you deleted them or maybe you just closed them out. If you deleted them you can download them from apple.com
