The wife and I are going to start a blog and I have the following available easily from my host (BlueHost):

  • b2evolution
  • Nucleus
  • pMachine Free
  • WordPress

Any advice on which to use? I'd like to keep it a web-based app so that both she and I can access it (we run different computers on different OSes).

TIA!

WordPress is the best.

I use WordPress for my blog too.

You could maybe look into Movable Type (the Personal version is a freebie). A friend of mine swears by it and claims he's not comfortable with WP.

I use MovableType for my personal blog, but that's not a turnkey solution-- I have to configure and maintain it myself on hosting that I bought separately. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

I've heard good things about WordPress and LiveJournal.
