- G4 1.5Ghz, 2GB RAM, DVDRW, 360GB HDD
Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone had tried putting a 1GB memory module into a G4 "Sawtooth"? I have maxed mine out with 4 512MB sticks but was wondering if the 1GB sticks would indeed work.
I realize that the official specs says it only supports up to 2GB but 1GB sticks weren't available when the machine was made.
The guys at Crucial said it'd work but on their website it says it won't. AAAARGH!!!!!
I'd like to hear from anyone who has actually tried it, not people that like to guess. lol.
