I have an approx 150 gig drive in my G5.
But when i get info, it says that I have 700mb of space left.

I check the applications folder for a total of 6.15 gb.
(final cut, Macromedia suite, indesign etc)

Then I checked to the Library to find out that its taking up a total of 136 gb.
But i can't find out where all this space is hiding.

The only thing i did a few days ago was edit a 4 minute video in iMovie.

Where can I check? Is there anything I can delete? Do I have to rebuild the machine from scratch?

Thanks!

Found And Fixed!!!

NoviceW,
Thanks much. I was able to locate where the space was hidden

/library/consoles/logs (4 files took up 122gigs). Deleted them and restarted and i'm back to business. Thanks much! as I was about to rebuild the whole system..sheesh....Anyway...i'm making a donation to Disk Inventory X. Give respect where respect is due!:headphone
