Can you add what database programs that are good at a reasonable price or free.

I have used Filemaker in the fast good but a bit expensive.

I am looking for a couple one to have on my PC preferably one that has a front end so i do nto have to keep opening the original design package just to view or add items to my database. ie. not like MS access where you have to keep opening access to edit a database.

And a designer type database that will allow me to design a databse to go on a PHP/MYSQL sserver.

THanks

Don't know if it will meet your needs or not but I finally decided on Neooffice. It has a database enclosed with it. I would have preferred Filemaker but you are right - it is just too expensive.

Yeah I use MySQL and you can use phpMyAdmin as the GUI frontend.
