I haven't done much printing since "the switch". My HP 5600 is pretty slow at default speed and I want to speed it up. In Windows there are printer options for print quality/speed, but I can't find anything like that in OSX. I'm printing a .pdf file and didn't see any options in there or under printer in Preferences either.

Thanks.

edit: while opening my browser, logging on to M-F and then typing this post, my printer printed one page! HELP!!

There should be a drop down in the print dialog box that allows you to change from low to high quality. The options will be printer specific but they all should have a draft mode or photo quality mode.
