I recently purchased the macbook with the combo drive and later learned that it doesn't burn DVDs (which is honestly my whole purpose for buying the mac).

How can I burn my iMovies?
Here are my specs: 13" macbook, combo drive, 512mb, 80GB, 1.83GHz Intel Core

I read about Roxio's Toast program, something with Patch in it... as well as some information saying that you can't use idvd without a superdrive. so if I got an external drive that wouldn't help me.... ANY suggestions or straight solutions would be GREATLY appreciated.

External USB DVD writer does the job brilliantly.

Will I be able to use iDvd to burn or do I need additional software?
