Does anyone know how to build a server farm?

I want to build a simple server farm with 2 PowerMac G4s...does anyone konw where I should begin? What OS would I need? Can it be done with OS X 10.3? Where could I get more specific info on it? Please help.

What do you want your server farm to do is probably the most important question we could ask you. There are many ways to hook up a server farm, but weather you want to share processing power or data are 2 different things.

If you want to share cpu power you will need to set up a cluster and you will need cluster software.

final cut studio has qmaster in it, that allows you to use other macs as a cluster when using any of the final cut studio apps.
