I'm not sure how much has been said about this.

I have to say that WoW runs excellent with everything turned up on my Macbook Pro.

The only thing is the macbook gets insanely hot. I mean can't touch it hot.. I'm not kidding.:dive:

I have the following:

2.16 intel c2d
1gb ddr2 667MHz
ATI x1600 256mb
120Gb

if you didn't tweak the fan/cpu/gpu settings then there really isn't much you can do. i know some kid in my dorm that invested in one of them aluminum laptop tray thingies and stuck a piece of dry ice underneath while gaming. works pretty well as long as you don't inhale too much of the CO2

Tweating the fans is the best way.

How do we do this?...Can we do it on the windows side, because I play Counter Strike source, just wondering if that would be possible.

How do you see the temps...I downloaded iStat Pro for dashboard and it says my mbp has no sensors.

istat is bad it eats ram. I used fan control others use SMC.

I guess there are windows software too. Keep your fan RPM under 3,500, apparently that is the highest they should go.

I use iCyclone, keeps my MBP (core duo) around 130F whenever I raid (40-man bg or instances...10 degrees cooler when just questing). I keep my fan at 3000 RPM whenever I am working with MS Office/Internet...etc, and at 6000 RPM whenever playing WoW.
