 Hi there,
I put this in the OS X thread because no matter which software I use, I can’t access some web pages. Specifically, anything that has ".ucla.edu" in the address. Any ideas? I’m going crazy trying to figure this out. Its so odd. My PC and my gf's mac have access to these sites so I know they are working. I have had this issue since I got my MBP about a week ago.
Please help. Any thought will be much appreciated.

Try re-applying the 10.4.8 combo updater after doing a permissions repair.

It turns out its some kind of strange and rare hardware problem. Im waiting for my product specialist to get back to me with a plan. This is a replacement machine. Im quite a bit frustrated.
Thanks for the thoughts.
