download desktop preference

Where can i change the preference of my downloads?
everything downloads to my desktop but i want to download
to a specific folder.

Your Mac's Specs
iBook G4 OSX Tiger
In Safari's Preferences, under the general tab it has a drop down menu that says Save downloaded files to: Desktop. Simply change it to "Other..." and navigate to your desired folder
