• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

just a question... why is your name mr g5 if you have a mac pro... lol

I was going to order a dual 2.3 powermac right before they were discontined in august. Then i went out of town for 2 weeks and when I came back the mac pro's were out.

they are faster and cheaper than the 2.3 so i went with that.

when i joined i was using a pc for anything intensive but i had a g3 powermac that someone gave to me for free.

Very nice setup

Danke. I've been incredibly happy with the results. For the kind of photography I do, the 8.3fps speed of the camera has been a godsend. And I think the 70-200/2.8 is possibly the greatest lens Canon makes.

Now if only I could afford a 300mm/2.8 L I'd be a happy guy. :)

Yea the 70-200 is absolutely incredible and might be the greatest lens period.
