hi guys, have anyone of you have problem file from window to ur mac? i am using a portable HDD to transfer my file which is in NTFS format. the problem is the mac can read NTFS format but cannot write using this format. anyone of you encounter this problem ? beside using macdriver6 is there any other software which does the same function ?

seems like you're saying the external hard drive is ntfs, right? a file can't be ntfs, since that's a file system.
you will probably just be better off copying anything you need off of that hard drive to your internal disk or another source (cd-r, dvd-r, another external disk, etc) and then reformat the ext drive as fat32 which should give you good compatability with windows machines and your mac.
