Did it come with the install Media, in other words an OSX DVD or Restore DVD?

If so I can help you easily.

Put in the main Install DVD, Hold down the C key after the chime and keep it down till the machine boots from the DVD. When it gets to the installer you will see pull downs at the top. There is an option to reset password. Do that and you will then be able to boot the machine and log in. Hope this helps.
