my friend installed the coconutwifi app on my macbook, and ever since my wireless internet connection would be slow or bad, does anyone have the same experience?

Don't let friends install things. Uninstall it.

I use this Airport Radar Widget Using a widget means it's not fooling with your wifi all the time.
