Hi everyone, I'm new and a first time poster, hopefully someone can help me. At work we use a Mac to host our groups intranet. Currently people use FTP to upload new files to this machine which are then viewed through a web browser.
Everytime a new file is uploaded the default permissions are the following:
-rw-r-----
This makes the file unviewable via a web browser. I can manually change the permissions every time a new file is uploaded but I want to know if there is a way to set a new default permission set for uploaded files. Changing file permissions gets old after a while
I've search on the web but haven't found many solutions. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
