- 20" Imac 2.0 GHz Core Duo, 256 Vid Card, 1 gig ram, 40 gig ipod, 4 gig nano, 512mb shuffle
I was listening to a song on itunes, all of a sudden the song cut out. Now the headphone jack doesn't work, and when the volume is all the way up a faint amount of sound comes out of the internal speakers. Even with headphones plugged in the faint sound only comes from the internal speakers, not the headphones.
I have flashed the pram, and restarted the computer. I also booted from an external backup. Nothing fixed the problem.
The mac does not chime on startup either.
Any help would be much appreciated. This is all so random and I can't find an answer to it.
