Flatbed scanner suggestion!!

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy a flatbed scanner A4 size, that can also scan transparency slides and negatives, decent bit depth, and GOOD software/drivers for Mac OS X Tiger (PPC and if possible also for Intel as I also have an Intel iMac). Right now the most I can spend is between 150 - 175 euros (thats somewhere in the 200 dollar range).
Does anyone have any suggestions for the best scanners possible in this price range for Mac OS X users?
I heard that Epson makes some pretty good scanners.

P.S - multiple photo scans in one go would be a plus!

I checked it out and read some reviews on other sites and as it seems the software is a bit dodgy. Anyway I'm looking at a few Epson scanners that "seem" pretty good.

If anyone else has any suggestions or hands on experience with Epson scanners please let me know.
