A 2GHz 1-2GB Ram macbook or some kind of powermac G4?
Which would be better to edit music and maybe record some small things here and there

well the powermac is one of the most common computers in recording studios. it is also alot cheaper than a macbook. i would do more research on both before you make any decisons though
