I don't know where to post this really, if it needs be just move it mods. Anyway I have used fire and adium and so far not very impressed, I have to have a single chat client that will do msn,yahoo and aim.. Let me know if there is a really good one to use.. Thanks. I am running tiger osx 10.4.8 thanks:tusks:

what didn't you like about adium or fire... this will help us to better choose a program for you.

sorry, the fire would hace people disconnected and i couldn't even talk to em, and adium i cant even get to the prefs to make changes once u install it if u don't change the stuff u cant find it to change it later.. hey powerbook, we got stuff in common, i drive a stang too, a 91 gt with a 302 bored .30 over with a steeda cam...

hmm... i can get to all the adium preferences easily.. did you try protious (i think i spelled it wrong but a search will turn up the correct spelling)

Proteus. It's a good client but right now going through a lot of redesign and in Beta. Adium's preferences are easy to get to. Click on Adium in the bar at top and preferences.

I see it now, duhhh i can't believe i didn't even notice that, i knew whatever window was opend that is what is at the top,thanks for the help

Just as a hint, in 99% of the programs you'll end up using, if you press "Apple-,", it will bring up the preference window.
