.sit Files

Right now when I download .sit files the default program to open it is MS word. I right click and do "open with" and to set the default app to The Unarchiver.
But I still can't keep to to say on Unarchiver, always goes back to word.

Any ideas?

there may be a setting in "unarchivers" preferences to "own" .sit files (open by default).

did you download and install unarchiver before word?

don't worry, nobody does leet here, i don't either.


select the file hit command+I and then change the open with setting to the desired program... this should change it permanently
