They haven't announced an official naming convention for it yet.

It has already been converted to XCode, and MS has said it takes around 6-8 months for the full product after the conversion

It has already been converted to XCode, and MS has said it takes around 6-8 months for the full product after the conversion

thats good cause 2004 is slow and uses up so much ram. do you know anything about the priceing and would there be a student teacher editon like they have now?

2004 is perfectly fine, just not on Intel machines. There has been no announcements of anything other than that it will be out sometime towards the end of the summer

Office 2007 for Mac will be released this summer. The release for the Mac version is always 6-8 months after the Windows version.

Many of the MacBU devs have blogs and constantly are talking about progress. The timeframe I gave above is exactly what they're all saying in their blogs.

yeah i have an intel one and it sucks up lots of ram and i only have 512 mb (upgrading soon). it gets the job done but you cant really do much more while its running unless you got more ram..

I've got an Intel iMac and it runs just fine. Actually, for me, Word runs better than Pages.
