XP reports overclocking on Macbook Pro

15" 2014 MacBook Pro, i7 2.5Ghz, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD; iPad 3, iPhone 6
I'm at a bit of a loss here - I've got the 2.16ghz processor, but XP reports the running speed @ 2.4ghz.

Is this... bad? I'd never think about overclocking a laptop processor, only because of the complete lack of cooling.

Actually it says 2.16ghz and 2.4ghz.

My Parallels does something similar (shows 2.0ghz and 1500mhz) - I think because it is a virtual machine, it works out a PR rating and then estimates the speed. I wouldn't count on this to reflect the actual clock speed. You might find playing with the VM acceleration settings changes the 2nd figure.
