I picked my name back in the olden days when playing NetHack and MUDing a lot. I was a mage or wizard, generally, and wanted a wizardy name that starts with the same letter as my first name. It sorta rhymes with 'shazzam', kinda, sorta, ish.

Explain Your Username.

I'm in the Navy, and my rate (job) is Machinist's Mate, abbreviated as MM. I am also nuclear trained, so I am referred to as a "nuke." Combine the two of them, and you get nukemm.

I chose my username because its my name for everything. My second name is Baines and all my teachers, friends etc call me bainzey. My website is Bainzey.com so it sort of makes sense?

OOOoOooo... When i first made my WoW account i spent a loooong time trying to come up with the perfect name for my character, and I ended up with Ambivalent.
Oddly enough I ended up in a guild with a Benevolent and his alt is Malevolent.

What does your username represent?

Hello there! I was just wondering how everyone on this forum probably had a bit of a struggle or at least a little story behind their usernames. So what inspried you to choose that username?

I will start:

Originally on other forums I used to be Mortilatis_Infinatis (The all seeing eye) but than because of the characters limit I had to shorten it.

Well I got mort when I was walking across the beach one morning (at the place where I live) and I heard the waves crashing in, and I thought "Wow the waves must be seeing the sand approaching them..." And so I thought "hmm they must have the all seeing eye..." So when I got back home I looked up the all seeing eye and it had translated the name into latin. So that is how I got my name :)

Now how about you?:black:

There was a thread like this started not too long ago, but I can't find it for the life of me..

Anyways, mine is "1337" for "punk rocker".. I like punk music a lot.. And I'm a geek. Mix the two and get "punkr0x0r"

Well I'm Indian and being the "Indian Guy" in my class, I was given that nickname 4 years ago. I also feel it has a strong connection towards my avatar, who himself has been to India himself and is a kind of hippie, too, so it all sort of fits.
