Protection

Can someone assist me in securing my internet connection. I live in an apartment complex, so how do i prevent others from accessing my linksys network. Every time I use the mac i can see 10 other network available so I would like to prevent them from using my connection. Thank you.

i have taken some of these measures myself, and they should be pretty universal as long as you know how to navigate your router's options.
