So I just bought a MacBook Pro, the new core 2 duo. And I am wondering if the preinstalled OSX is the default settings for OSX. Like if I reinstall OSX using the disc will it be the exact same.

Because with some PC if you buy them through dell or best buy or something it comes with software you don't really want, just wondering if that is the case with OSX.

If you decide to reinstall, you can click "Customize" and you'll have a choice of what you install.

The base install has some stuff that's not necessary, like the Office Test Drive, different languages, print drivers, etc.
