Does the Genius bar charge to look at your system? Like if you're having a problem, you don't have apple care, and the 1-yr thing is long gone, yet you don't know what's wrong with your computer and you have to get it diagnosed?

The people at the Genius Bar will look at it for no charge.

If you need to leave it there for further diagnosis, there probably will be a charge unless you're covered under one of the recall/service bulletins.
