I want to burn an .avi file that's a DVD rip. It's 699 MB and when I go to import it into iMovie it takes forever to import. I imagine this has to do with encoding. Is there a better way to do this. Please help.

well there is 2 256 sticks in it right now so buy a gig stick and put it in one of the slots and keep in the 256 stick you have to have one in each slot (so ive heard) for a dual core processer

alrite thanks...there aren't any other ways of burning an AVI without encoding it are there. Because I've tried toast and its just as slow so i guess the key is the RAM.
