Whenever I start up my macbook, there is a gray screen with a flashing world globe. It flashes for maybe 20-30 seconds. I was wondering why that happens and how to get rid of it. Thank you

I think you have it set for network startup, go into the startup disk preference in system preferences, and make sure your hard disk is selected.
