Hi All

Have a Dual core mac book which I would like to replace the HDD with a larger one and then use the original drive in a external case. Ebay sells some 2.5 drives with case (Toshiba/samsung etc) for a reasonable price. Is there any thing I need to look for when buying a hard drive. Obviously it has to be a 2.5' anything else

Thanks for the help

Cheers

Your Mac's Specs
Mac Mini 1.58 - 60 GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive - 1 GB PC3200 & 1.33 Ghz 12" iBook w/ 80 GB 7200 RPM HD
And it has to be SATA (or Serial ATA) and 9.5mm...other than those things...no...nothing special. I don't know how many of the pre-packaged drives or SATA though...I always thought most of them were PATA or IDE drives which won't work in the Macbook.
