My Mac won't stop talking!

Hey everyone, I'm a newbie on here but have been using a Mac for about 8 years. I signed on here today because I have a problem I can't figure out. I've done multiple searches with to no avail. I was hoping maybe one of you could help!

My Mac just started repeating every command I do. I was just working with some Adobe programs and my computer suddenly started talking. I can't figure out how to turn it off. By the way, I have Speakable Items in the Speech Prefs. turned off.
