I have started using HP Photosmart suite but everytime I attach my digital camera iPhoto starts automatically. Is there a way to "turn if off" so it does not automaticaly come up?

Open up Image Capture (it's in your applications folder) then go to preferences and select which program you want to use when your camera is connected to your computer.

I must be missing something. I opened Image Capture and then opened Preferences but nothing seemed to be in Preferences that would allow me to do this. Does it matter that I am running 10.3.9??
