Photoshop Help PLEASE!

Hi again,
When I use Photoshop in Classic and choose a document with a Transparent backgroud, why when I save it, does save with a white backgroud and not a transparent one....

What kind of file? Only tiff, png and gif support transparency.

Im saving the file as a .png but the problem still insists, have you any ideas....
