Can't get to Parallels hot corner

I have XP running in a full sized window - not in the full screen mode. I can move the window on the desktop left, right, down and up BUT not up high enough to get to the hot corner in the lower right because it bumps into the menu bar.
Research says I can't hide the menu bar so is there a way to resize the parallels window so I can get to the hot corner?
