I tried Media Center through Windows Vista RC1 and thought it was pretty straightforward to use; maybe because I always used PC's, so I didn't have a learning curve. The major advantage it has is television control so going between TV and other apps and files is seemless. Plus, unlike most Windows-related programs, the UI is smooth and looks great! (IMHO)
