Hi all

A friend gave me a webcam of unknown brand/model. It has no labels on it, and he lost the documentation, box and drivers CD as well. He wants to know if it can work. (He has a PC, which keeps asking for "drivers").

I tried attaching it to USB port of my macbook, fired up iChat first, and then iMovie HD, but I can't get these apps to talk to the webcam.

I tried using the linux command "lsusb" from terminal, but that doesn't seem to work in OS X.

How can I know which brand is it, and how can I make this webcam work with OS X?

Anyone has an idea?
